GENERAL CONDITIONS
2) For direct extra-urban transfers (without stops), the rate is calculated by kilometre & time involved.
3) For pick-up from/to airports, special rates apply, which you can request to the info\booking service.
4) Each passenger may carry up to 1 Large bad and 1 small. All exceeding baggage (i.e. skis and equipment) shall be mentioned upon reservation to prevent that the car is not suitable to carry it.
5) The drivers shall decide whether to carry any unreported bulky objects, exceeding baggage or any goods that may not be carried in full safety (broken, dirty, wet suitcases, etc.).
6) You can reserve your car with driver as follows:

- By phone: +39 328 1319806 +39 349 3431906. Unless not feasible, all phone bookings shall be confirmed in writing with all the details, by e-mail or text message.
7) When a car with driver is rented by phone, the client must accept these terms and conditions, which are available on our website and by e-mail or phone upon request.
Once confirmed the rental of a car with driver by e-mail or a phone message, the confirmation notice must be kept and shown to the driver.
If the booking also includes a possible return trip, you must keep the confirmation notice for all the required time.
8) Upon booking the car with driver, the client shall provide both pick-up and destination addresses.
If the client wants to change them or other details, the same can do that by e-mail or phone not later than 12 hours before the beginning of the service. In case of a shorter notice, a new reservation must be made and, in such case, higher costs or changes may apply as regards the type of car and/or driver requested in the original reservation.
9) Lake Como Transfers di Pugno Lorenzo shall commit to have the own cars or any cars driven by freelance drivers be onsite at the time agreed with the client. Lake Como Transfers snc, however, shall not be liable in case of delays or possible damage and the following indemnification claims originating from force majeure (i.e. road accidents, traffic jams).
10) All cars are new, insured and authorized to circulate in Italy and in Europe.
11) Passenger transportation is fully covered by the insurance policy that Lake Como Trasfers snc has stipulated for the own cars with third parties. The clients’ assets shall be carried under the passengers’ responsibility, instead, who shall declare their ownership upon on-boarding. Upon departure and arrival, clients should check the correspondence of the own luggage since no indemnification for loss and/or damage may be claimed against Lake Como Trasfers snc.
12) If, for any causes of force majeure, Lake Como Trasfers di Pugno Lorenzo were not able to carry the clients to a destination they have reserved and paid for, the same shall organize for the clients to be transferred by other cars and reimburse such cost to the clients upon invoice/receipt. The cost for such transfer shall not exceed the rates applicable for the same agreed transfer.
13) The rental service clients may not:
- Smoke during the transfer;
- Throw any objects out of the cars, whether stationery or moving;
- Stain, dirty or damage the car;
- Pretend to carry any pets without agreeing on and adopting all the required measures to avoid that the car is damaged or dirtied;
- Pretend that the transfer is completed in violation of the safety and behavioural rules given in the Road Regulations in force.
14) Right to cancel a reservation. The client may cancel a reservation by informing the service by e-mail or phone without any penalties up to 24 hours before the service uless a NON- REFUNDABLE deposit has been taken and agreed between the two parts. If a transfer is cancelled with a shorter notice (i.e. in the 24 hours before the beginning of the service), a penalty equal to 50% of the agreed amount shall apply.
15) If a client is over 30 minutes late due to force majeure (i.e. flight delayed or cancelled), the same shall immediately inform the service by e-mail or phone. Failing to report the issue shall exclude the possibility to use the service and it shall cause a penalty equal to 50% of the service rate.
16) For any controversies arising on the construction and execution of this contract, the Italian law shall apply and jurisdiction thereon shall be assigned to the Court of Como (Italy).
